We are doing fine and very ready for summer! I have posted a few pictures of the kids from Easter and Nathan's graduation from 4K. He will stay at his preschool one more year and begin kindergarten next fall. I can't believe my baby boy is so big! Camille is 19 months old and talking all the time. She is very independent and wants to do everything Nathan does. They are really cute together.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_e3zyBmzH4W8/S-Gfr9r8O1I/AAAAAAAAANA/ZfyEKg07vFo/s320/IMG_6082.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5467827000246549330" />
Camille Easter Sunday
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_e3zyBmzH4W8/S-GfraiI91I/AAAAAAAAAM4/zwDoZ1Uz5pM/s320/IMG_6056.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5467826990810199890" />
Nathan and Camille Easter morning
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_e3zyBmzH4W8/S-GfrOcgAHI/AAAAAAAAAMw/ew_vhcFoqNw/s320/IMG_5957.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5467826987565318258" />
Easter egg hunt at church
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_e3zyBmzH4W8/S-GfqDhA0AI/AAAAAAAAAMo/PrMoVuE745Q/s320/Me+and+Nathan+at+graduation.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5467826967451586562" />
Nathan and me at his graduation

Back Home

This past weekend we went to my hometown of Maxeys, GA. I never seem to make time for this as so many things are higher up on the priority list! I will try to do better. Spring Break is next week which means summer is almost here! Nine more weeks which means only nine more Mondays. I can do this!

A couple of weeks ago, Nathan got to experience his first real snow. It was so much fun! We made a snowman, named Frosty, of course and Nathan had a ball. Camille went outside long enough to have her picture made and she was done. <img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_e3zyBmzH4W8/SbnAwTpJJjI/AAAAAAAAAKw/-wIUueFQUls/s320/IMG_2892.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5312489171599304242" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_e3zyBmzH4W8/SbnAwPZHQOI/AAAAAAAAAKo/jnmSAvbnqxA/s320/IMG_2871.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5312489170458329314" />

Last weekend my parents were here for baby dedication. My dad prayed over Nathan three years ago and we wanted him to pray over Camille too. I wasn't sure how Nathan would do on stage, but he did great. It was so funny when he saw himself on the tv at the bottom of the stage! He just smiled really big and never made a sound. I was so proud of him! Camille just looked around. Thanks Dad for leading a great prayer! <img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_e3zyBmzH4W8/SbnCyCkK1qI/AAAAAAAAALA/L5EhBhIVLnY/s320/IMG_2918.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5312491400398034594" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_e3zyBmzH4W8/SbnCyi3bscI/AAAAAAAAALI/RHo5hC4mpBs/s320/IMG_2921.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5312491409068765634" />

Camille is six months old! Where has the time gone? I can't believe she is 1/2 a year old. She is doing well and smiles and laughs a lot. I love it how excited she gets when I pick her up from school. It is the sweetest thing! She is rolling over and playing with her toes. She's not interested in sitting up or eating off a spoon, but loves to entertain herself. <img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_e3zyBmzH4W8/SbnEUTCAjGI/AAAAAAAAALY/rnR6QQmrRZU/s320/IMG_2939.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5312493088445336674" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_e3zyBmzH4W8/SbnETxJLetI/AAAAAAAAALQ/WcRkRE4oVyI/s320/IMG_2933.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5312493079348607698" />

Nathan looks so excited here. Leaving my two precious children is difficult even though I know they are cared for during the day. Once we all get home it's family time until bed time for them, 7:00 for Camille and 8:00 for Nathan. Then it's time for the nightly chores of getting ready for it start all over again. Washing dishes, bottles, getting lunch ready for the next day and doing any prep work for dinner the next night so I can spend more time with the kids when I get home instead of being in the kitchen. All that to say, the blog has taken a back seat. Camille turned four months old three weeks ago and I didn't even post a picture!

And did I mention a squirrel fell into our chimney...again. One died a couple of years ago and it was AWFUL! Phil and I built a trap (see below) but he must have been asleep when we opened the flume because nothing happened. We thought maybe he died. Great. Phil came home the next day and found the full grown squirrel sitting on the back of our couch!!! Really? A squirrel in the house? Thank goodness I wasn't the one who stumbled on him with two kiddos! Thankfully Phil captured him in the bathroom after a two plus hour square off. We don't think he had been in here for long because so far we haven't found anything chewed up or scratched. There were crooked picture frames on the wall and a little poop on the floor, but all in all, I think we got off fairly well. Ashely, I don't think he was anything like stormy. :)

We are doing well and Camille is growing up so fast. She is rolling over and squeals all the time. Nathan loves her so much and is constantly loving on her and making sure she has her lovey and paci. He tells me he can't wait for her to get bigger so she can play with his toys, but we all know what will happen she does get bigger and bigger. :)

It's not letting me post pictures for some reason so the squirrel trap picture will have to wait.

Happy New Year

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and the new year is off to a wonderful beginning. The weekend before Christmas we went to Tennessee to spend time with Phil's family. His mom's side of the family got together for a dinner and then we went back to his parent's house so the grandchildren could exchange gifts. It was a great time and I'm glad we were able to celebrate with them. We were at our house Christmas eve and Christmas morning. I don't mind travelling, but always want to be home Christmas morning. Nathan and Camille really seemed to enjoy their gifts. Nathan was so excited that Santa ate the milk and cookies and absolutely loved his excavator!

Thomason tradition: Daddy reading The Night Before Christmas

Friday we headed to GA to see my parents. Nathan and William really enjoyed it, especially the train ride, chocolate milk and cookies. Camille slept through most of it, but woke up in time to have her picture made with Santa and Mrs. Claus. We had a great time and the boys did really well waiting on Santa to make his way to our car. Maybe Santa should get some of the mall Santas to help him out next year.

Nathan in front of the engine.

Camille out like a light.Nathan saying, "Cheese!" and Mrs. Claus thought it was funny.

Don't you love spit-up? Nathan was so excited to have his picture made with the conductor!!

Thanksgiving Part 2

Well, we are the crazy travellers at Thanksgiving, going to see both sets of parents, but we have made it home safely and for that I am very thankful. We had a good time in Tennessee and enjoyed spending time with Phil's family. This morning we left Camille with Phil's mom and took Nathan to Who-ville...How the Grinch Stole Christmas ICE at Opryland. It was fun, but not sure it was worth the drive and the money for 30 minutes of freezing! Everything inside is ice and it's really neat to see and very cold. There are two ice slides, which we all enjoyed. It was great because there were only a few people there and we didn't have to wait in any lines! Nathan seemed to really enjoy it, but was more interested in the snacks in the gift shop than anything else. Oh well, glad we went and were able to spend some time with just him. He was pretty excited that Camille was too small to go. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving

We just got back from my parents house where we went for Thanksgiving day. It was so good to go home for a couple of days. We had a great time with my mom and dad and were able to see some of my cousins while we were home. We drove back home today and will leave in the morning to go to Phil's parents house. We have gone to both family's houses every year and it is hard, but neither one of us is willing to give up time with our family during the holidays. It makes for a crazy few days especially with two children, but it works for now.

Here are a few pictures from our trip.

Mom, Dad, Nathan and CamilleNathan, Camille and Aunt Natalie. Nathan driving the tractor with Pops.
Nathan and Camille with Edgie. Camille was less than thrilled at this point, but I'm so glad I have a picture of her with them. Edgie was my grandmother's best friend and is 101 years old. It was really good to see her today.
This is a picture of turkey cookies Nathan and I made earlier this week. We are going to have a yard sale in the morning. Yes, I know it's going to be 24 degrees at 7:00, but we're going to do it anyway. I'm tired of all this junk in my garage and I'm ready for it to go! It will be a long night, early morning and long day tomorrow, but hopefully we'll make a little money and meet some of our neighbors. Phil was at the bank yesterday getting some money for us to make change and I guess he told the teller what it was for. She said a lady was in there the day before and made $4000 on her yardsale the previous weekend. $4000??? We'll be extremely lucky if we make $400. Who makes $4000 on a yard sale?

Here a few pictures of the kiddos. Nathan cracks me up the way he "reads" catalogs. He LOVES them and really studies them. It makes me laugh.Here is Nathan getting a haircut from Phil. Again, looks like an old man in a barber shop! We go though at least two suckers just to get him to be still.

Apparently he still loves Camille. I keep thinking he will lash out at her or something, but he truly seems to love her.

I finally put a bow in her hair and attempted to take some pictures. I can't believe nine weeks have already passed. She weighs 10 pounds 13 ounces and is 22 inches long. She is beginning to smile and turns her head when she hears our voices. She is such a sweet baby and is sleeping fairly well. She wakes up1-2 times a night, so I can't complain. She seems to like riding in the car and goes with the flow. Nathan is still doing well and loves his little sister. His new favorite thing to do it take a bath with her. He wants me to put her tub in the big tub so they can take a bath together.

All Aboard!

"Trick or Treat. I"m a train conductor. All aboard!" This is what we heard all night as we went to some of our neighbors houses. Nathan loved being a train conductor. With Camille coming three weeks early and Nathan's birthday party being less than a month later, I kind of forgot about Halloween. Thankfully, he received this costume for his birthday and gave me one less thing to think about. Thank you Addison for the great birthday present. This was actually the first year we went trick-or-treating and Nathan seemed to really like it. He loved knocking on doors and picking out the candy. I don't know where he gets this from, but when someone would put a full bowl of candy under his nose and tell him to take what he wanted, we stood there forever while he tried to decide. He would never take a handfull, always just one piece, but the decision making was torture for him, but he loved every minute. Camille didn't get a costume this year, just a gown with a pink pumpkin. Mommy didn't quite get it together, but she loved walking around in the sling.

Our Pumpkins

Phil and Nathan had a great time carving the annual pumpkin and Nathan thought it was great that it could light up. He is so cute! October 9, 2005

October 9, 2008

Pumpkin Patch

Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch. We have gone the last two years, but never have we been when it was 80 degrees and we were all in shorts! It was hot, but this was the only weekend in October we could go, so we all went. I was proud of us for our first long outing as a family of four. Nathan had a great time and Camille enjoyed her sling and slept the whole time. The latest news we have is the addition of sweet Camille Henley on September 10. Nathan is a great big brother and we are adjusting to life with a newborn.
